Videos

These videos show that I've stuck to the plan, i.e. decorate the cover with Zentangles AND create QR codes for each picture.  These videos also represent my first foray into uploading videos on YouTube.

Zentangle Cover

Music is by Leslie Lindballe (@onepercentyello), Legends, from The Radjhani Express album.  This sketchbook also contains an entry, Ukulele, dedicated to Leslie, which features the snippet used in this video.

Sketcbook Pages

Music is by Samuel Wright (@wrightstufmusic), Energise Me which was also used in a time-lapse video for one of this sketchbook pages: Playing in Public. This sketchbook also contains an entry, Tree, inspired by another one of Sam's songs.

Creating the videos

I used photos of the cover, over time, with each iteration showing end of 10 minutes doodling or zentangling(?).  For the sketchbook pages, I actually scanned all of them rather than use the photos uploaded to this blog.  Everything needed cropping and I thought Picasa would be the easiest way to go.

When it came to movie-making, I was going to use iMovie but serendipitously stumbled upon Picasa's movie-making feature with an easy upload to YouTube.  Picasa had much less features than iMovie but enough to suit my purposes.  These videos are my first attempts to upload to YouTube.  I was fumbling about and made a few (lots of) mistakes.  I learned heaps about Picasa and YouTube.  BUT, I'm really happy with the results.
